OREANDA-NEWS. On 24 April 2008 was announced, that last week general meetings to hear report and elect new officials in the Nuclear Insurance Pool of Ukraine (NIPU) constituted the new Board of the pool, a member of which became "Oranta" Incorporated. The meetings re-elected the administration and deliberative bodies of NIPU for the period of two years. The President of National joint stock insurance company "Oranta", Oleksandr Zavada, was elected as the Chairman of the Board of NIPU. The meetings considered the report of the pool’s administration, as well as of the auditing commission. The work of NIPU was admitted as satisfactory by the decision of the general meetings, no infringements in the work of the pool’s directorate have been detected, and the report of the auditing commission was approved. NIPU unites Ukrainian insurance companies, which have licenses of the State Commission on Regulation of Financial Services Markets on the insurance of the risks, related to the maintenance of nuclear objects.
