Odesa Refinery Can Supply 20% of Ukrainian Petroleum Market
OREANDA-NEWS. April 22, 2008. When put into operation after reconstruction, the Odesa oil refinery (South Ukraine) will be able to provide to Ukrainian market about 20% of the total volume of petroleum products, Fuel and Energy Minister Yuriy Prodan said.
In his words, the plant can process up to 3 million tons of oil a year.
Open joint stock company LUKOIL, which possesses open joint stock company LUKOIL - Odesa Oil Refinery, launched in July 2005 modernization of the enterprise, investment in which are estimated at almost USD 380 million.
The processing of crude oil resumed in March 2008. The refinery will produce gasoline meeting Euro-3 standards, and diesel fuel meeting Euro-4 standards.
