OREANDA-NEWS. On April 23, 2008 the Ukrainian Center for Foreign Investment Promotion Invest Ukraine signed a memorandum of cooperation with the International Enterprise Singapore (IE Singapore) operating with the Singapore Ministry of Trade and Industry in frames of Ukraine-Singapore Business-Seminar "Doing Business in Ukraine", organized under the auspices of the ministry and Ukraine's Embassy in Singapore, the InvestUkraine press-center reported.

Participating in the event were representatives of the State Agency of Ukraine for Investment and Innovation, management of InvestUkraine, State Innovation Finance and Credit Organization and Ukreximmbank. They met Singapore businessmen and presented opportunities of the economic-investment cooperation with Ukraine.

InvestUkraine Director Ihor Nikolayko noted the interest of Singapore businessmen in the mechanisms of investing into Ukraine. Cooperation with Singapore, being among world's most developed countries, is of strategic importance, while "the country's experience which built a prosperous society from nothing, is extremely precious for Ukraine", he said.

Founded with the State Agency of Ukraine for Investment and Innovation, the Ukrainian Center for Foreign Investment Promotion provides free advisory services to potential and existing investors on doing business in Ukraine.
