OREANDA-NEWS. On 22 April 2008 the leading steel pipe and railway wheel producer Interpipe announced the appointment of Mr Oleg Kuzmin to the position of Director of Corporate Affairs. In his new position Oleg will be responsible for Interpipe’s PR strategy and communications policy as well as the coordination of external and internal communications and promotion of the company’s brand in strategic regions.

According to Interpipe’s Chief Executive Officer, Alexandr Kirichko: “Interpipe is a major player in the world pipe and railway wheels markets and communicates daily with diverse audiences such as customers, journalists and authorities. Oleg Kuzmin has many years of experience in communications and public relations and I believe he will help Interpipe to strengthen its position in its key regions.”   

Before joining Interpipe, Oleg was Head of Communications and External relations at “EUROCEMENT group”. Oleg has also held executive positions at communications agency  SPN Ogilvy Public Relations.

Oleg graduated from the Department of Law at Petrozavodsk State University and studied PR and advertising at Umeo State University (Sweden). Oleg has further diplomas from the Central European University (USA) in political science and PR studies and from the Baltic University (Finland) in sustainable development.
