OREANDA-NEWS. April 23, 2008. The Gazprom Headquarters today hosted a working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Company’s Management Committee and Sergey Katanandov, Head of the Republic of Karelia.

The parties discussed the progress with the execution of the Cooperation Agreement and the Accord on Gasification of the Republic. In particular, the meeting addressed issues with regard to the construction of gasification facilities for Karelia’s population centres in 2008. Moreover, the parties examined possible gasification options for southern Karelia.

The meeting also focused on the completion of the Petrozavodsk–Kondopoga gas trunkline construction.
