OREANDA-NEWS. On 22 April 2008 was announced, that MIRAX GROUP was awarded one of the most respected awards in the area of commercial real estate - Commercial Real Estate Awards. The Golden Brick was solemnly handed to Alexei Adikayev, member of MIRAX's Board of Directors.

The prize in the nomination “Multifunctional Real Estate” was awarded to the West Tower of the Federation Business Complex.

“We are happy that our achievements in the construction of unique projects are recognized every year”, said Alexei Adikayev at the award ceremony. “We promise to continue amazing you with new interesting projects”.

The selection of nominees from among the participating projects was started two months before the award ceremony. The projects were evaluated in two stages: by on-line voting of selection committees of the jury and in a direct meeting of the jury committees after a presentation held by the nominee company on April 2 at the Marriot Hotel. The West Tower of the Federation Business Complex nominated for the award was presented by Ara Aramyan, Vice-President of MIRAX GROUP.

The refereeing process this year was supervised by PricewaterhouseCoopers, which was chosen as an independent consultant for the Award. A special commission comprised of PricewaterhouseCoopers experts paid a visit to the West Tower to familiarize themselves with the building infrastructure, MEP systems and functioning offices.

The award ceremony was held at the Expocenter in Krasnaya Presnya, and gathered over 1000 guests.
