OREANDA-NEWS. CIS integrated air defence command post rehearsal will be held on April 22, said Lieutenant General Vadim Volkovitskiy, Russian AF deputy commander.

The CIS integrated air defence command post rehearsal will involve four MiG-31 of air force of  Kazakhstan and Russia. The crews of the aircraft are set to practice to perfection issues concerning actions of air defence alert resources.

Combined maneuver will comply crews and aircraft Su-24 and Su-27 of Air Forces and Air Defence Forces of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation from “Ross” and “Siverskiy” AF Bases.

During command post rehearsal Russian Air Base “Kant” in Kirgiz Republic will be also used.

More than 20 scenarios will be rehearsed, designed at strengthening the air space of CIS countries - Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.

Over 110 military aircraft and helicopters (Mi-29, Mig-31, Su-27, Su-24, Tu-95 and Tu-22, A-50, Mi-8, Mi-24) will take part in a large-scale command post rehearsal

The command of the exercise will be provided by General Alexander Zelin, Russian Air Force Commander-in-Chief, from the Air Force Central command post.
