OREANDA-NEWS. On 21 April 2008 was announced, that 11 registry offices are to undergo reconstruction in the Moscow region this year at the expense of the regional budget.

“We plan to improve the conditions of 11 registry offices in 2008. The work will include not only current maintenance of the buildings but also improvement of the territories adjacent to them,” Nataliya Kolesnik, first deputy head of the senior management of Civil Registry Office of the Moscow Region, said.

According to her, \\$1.3 million has been allocated for this purpose from the regional budget.

“That is a lot of money due to which we will be able to lick both the halls for daily receptions and the halls for solemn ceremonies into modern shape,” Ms Kolesnik added.

The official noted that 17 registry offices were revamped in the Moscow region in 2007 at the expense of the budget.
