OREANDA-NEWS. On 17 April 2008 was announced, that the actual charges of the electric energy on its transmission in the 110-0.4 kV electric networks (losses) in the 1st quarter 2008 equaled more than 209 million kWh at the target of 241.7 million kWh, the decrease amounted to 32.25 million kWh. In comparison with the 1st quarter 2007, the loss of the electric power lowered by 0.59 %.

Due to realization of a complex of actions on decrease in losses in the 1st quarter 2008, the aggregate saving of loss equaled 20.8 million kWh. (20.8 million rubles). Following the results of realization of the actions directed at improvement of the commercial and technical accounting, the saving equaled 20.2 million kWh (20.8 million rubles), the saing due to performance of organizational actions amounted to 553.7 thousand kWh (551.7 thousand rubles) and of technical actions – 46.3 thousand kWh. (46.5 thousand rubles).

 ‘The most effective actions on reduction in losses consist in control over indications reading on the accounting devices and revealing the facts of illegal power consumption’, Natalia Vetrova, chief of the department of monitoring and analysis of the electric power transmission management losses. As a result of the given checks, 494 certificates for the sum of more than 4.5 million rubles were made. The positive event was switching-off of transformers with seasonal loading and in a mode of small loadings at SB with two and more transformers. Besides, replacement of the operating 0.4 kV feeders by the self-bearing isolated wires is implemented at the places of the largest losses’.
