OREANDA-NEWS. April 16, 2008. Production of key product types decreased in March. In March 2008 commodity output totaled UAH 311,653 million, a 4,1% decrease as compared to March 2007, reported the press-centre of Dneprospetsstal.

Total steel amount shipped from the shops was 44,194 thousand tons. Total rolled steel shipments were 28,335 thousand tons. As compared to March, 2007, the amount of steel shipped decreased by 5.5% and the amount of rolled stock decreased by 5%.

Total output for the quarter ended March 31, 2008 was UAH 917,505 million (a 2.9% increase as compared to the quarter ended March 31, 2007).
