OREANDA-NEWS. April 17, 2008. According to the form of departmental state statistical monitoring for the first quarter of the year 2008 “Transsiberian Reinsurance Corporation” has collected 197.3 million rubles of reinsurance premiums.

As well as in former years, the most significant share in a portfolio makes reinsurance of property risks - 58 % (114.6 million rubles). The sum of contracts of personal accidents in comparison with the last year practically has not changed and has made 2.7 million rubles or 1,4 % from the general gathering for the accounting period. On reinsurance of the liability it has been collected 80 million rubles that makes 40.6 % from total premiums. Growth of receipts in this segment has made 3.8 times.

The total sum of “Transsib Re” paid loss for the first quarter 2008 has made 40 million rubles. The factor of payments of Corporation last years differs with stability. If on the average on a portfolio in the first quarter 2008 this parameter is fixed at a level of 20.3 % than according to the results of the similar period of the last year this parameter made 20.4 %.

As for distribution by kinds 96.7 % from a total sum paid loss make payments under contracts of property reinsurance (year earlier there were 96,8 %). The liability reinsurance makes 3.3 %. Paid loss on reinsurance of contracts of personal accident in the first quarter 2008 were not made.

According to the information of the form 1-C in the first quarter 2008 the number of receipts from the Russian companies and partners from abroad practically fifty-fifty in the general reinsurance gathering of the Corporation. A bit different situation on payments: only 16 % from a total sum were paid to foreign reinsurers. In the first quarter 2008 “Transsib Re” signed 995 contracts of reinsurance, the number of settled losses is 288.
