OREANDA-NEWS. On 17 April 2008 was announced, that JSC OGK-5 Board of Directors adopted a resolution on the election of Anatoly Y. Kopsov, formerly the General Director of OAO Mosenergo, the General Director of JSC OGK-5.

The new General Director of JSC OGK-5 will assume office on May 1, 2008.

“Anatoly Kopsov is one of the most effective and efficient managers in the Russian power sector,” said Dominique Fache, Country Manager for Russia and CIS at Enel and Chairman of the Board of Directors at OGK-5. “His outstanding expertise, extensive experience in the industry, as well as strong knowledge of the Russian market will be extremely relevant for OGK-5. I am confident that Anatoly will make a substantial contribution to our joint efforts to develop OGK-5 into a true industry leader.”
