OREANDA-NEWS. On 17 April 2008 was announced, that starting from 2008 OJSC "Universalna" has opened 30 new branches.

In particular, OJSC "Universalna" has opened 2 new branches in Kyiv region, in Bila Tserkva and Fastiv.

The number of Donetsk regional Directorate branches has been increased to 23 branches, as a result of joining the OJSC Insurance Company "Oradon" – one of the legal successors of the ex-"Ukrderzhstrakh" priority rights and responsibilities.

In addition OJSC "Universalna" has opened 2 branches in Dnipropetrovsk region, in Dniprodzerzhinsk and Kryvyi Ryh, and 1 branch in Kharkiv region (Pervomaysk).

2 branches of OJSC "Universalna" have been opened in Khmelnitskiy region, in Kamyanets-Podilskiy and Derazhnya.

Insurance company "Universalna" is going to extend its presence also in Cherkasy region by opening 3 new branches.

So far the network of OJSC "Universalna" accounts for 105 points of sales nationwide.

By the end-2007 OJSC "Universalna" and OJSC "Oradon" had signed the protocol of acquisition of OJSC Insurance Company "Oradon". All the legal and institutional arrangements related to the post acquisition consolidation of two companies should be performed during 1-3Q 2008.
