On 17 April 2008 Southern Telecommunications Company (“UTK”), the principal fixed-line telecommunications provider for Russia’s Southern Federal District, reportsed that pursuant to the decision of the Executive Board of CJSC “MICEX SE” of March 31, 2008, UTK’s series 04 and series 05 bonds were included in MICEX Quotation List A1.

The decision was made due to development of the secondary market of UTK’s securities providing for share capital and liquidity growth as well as broadening the range of potential investors.

It should be noted that at the end of 2007 UTK’s series 03 bonds were transferred to A1 Quotation List of CJSC “MICEX Stock Exchange”.
