OREANDA-NEWS. April 16, 2008. As was informed to the Bank’s press service by the Head of Ukrsotsbank Documentary Operations Department, Andiy Fedosieiev.

Ukrsotsbank has held negotiations with representatives of Philip Morris Ukraine CJSC Tobacco Trader Company and Kimberly Clark Ukraine CJSC Trader Company of hygiene products. As the result the Bank got authorisation of these companies to present in their favour direct guaranties of payment and confirmation of such guaranties issued by other Ukrainian banks. “This will seriously decrease the cost of direct guaranties for our clients – sellers of tobacco products and distributors of hygiene products (economy in commission will make 1,75%-2% per annum)," - Andiy Fedosieiev explained. 

Before successful negotiations on Ukrsotsbank authorisation on issuance (confirmation) of payment direct guaranties had been held with JT International Company Ukraine CJSC — А member of the JTI Group of Companies. In such a way, today the Bank is authorised by two tobacco companies – traders: Philip Morris Ukraine CJSC and JT International Company Ukraine CJSC and also with Kimberly Clark Ukraine CJSC distributor of hygiene products.
