OREANDA-NEWS. April 16, 2008. “Siberian Agrarian Holding” group (SAHO) purchased fruit and berry agricultural enterprises “Doroginskaya zaimka” and “Bochkaryovskoye” located in Cherepanovsky district of Novosibirsk region.

Based on the purchased farms, Cherepanovsky fruit and berry complex of SAHO was created to provide enterprises producing juice concentrates, incorporated into SAHO, with stable supplies of raw materials.

New fruit and berry complex incorporated to SAHO produces such fruit and berry crops as: buckthorn, chokeberry, wiggen, black haw, cherry, honeysuckle, rennet, currant, strawberry and raspberry. Total garden area is about 800 ha, area of yielding gardens exceeds 200 ha.

The gardens have not been cultivated for a long time and gardeners of the holding have to restore them. Intensive soil cultivation, application of plant protecting agents and modern highly productive equipment will let to increase the yield already in the season of 2008. SAHO is going spend 4.3 million roubles on purchasing of the equipment and 14.5 million roubles on the restoration of the gardens. In the nearest three years area of yilding and young shoots will reach 700 ha. It is planned that wage workers from nearby rural settlements will harvest fruit and berries on Cherepanovsky fruit and berry complex of SAHO.

“Bochkaryovskoye” includes a wokshop for processing of fruit and berry raw materials. After the reconstruction this workshop is going to become a department of SAHO producing juice concentrates. Its main production capacities are located in Iskitim (Novosibirsk region).
