OREANDA-NEWS. On 16 April 2008 was announced, that еhe Agency for Political and Economic Communications (APEC) produced its scheduled influence-based ranking of entrepreneurs and top managers in Russia's fuel-and-power sector for April. The leaders of the monthly ranking, which covers 50 persons, are Alexei Miller (1), Vagit Alekperov (2), Sergei Bogdanchikov (3), Oleg Deripaska (4), Alexander Medvedev (5), Anatoly Chubais (6), Victor Vekselberg (7-8), Alisher Usmanov (7-8), Nikolai Tokarev (9), Vladimir Bogdanov (10).

Nikolai Tokarev, President for the Oil Transporting JSC “Transneft” is among first ten managers of the giant companies. “ESPO second phase construction terms and parameters have been clarified enhancing the “Transneft’s” management consolidated positions”, mentioned in agency comment.

The ranking has been produced on the basis of the expert poll held by APEC in March 2008. 36 famous experts took part in it among them: economists, political, investment and industry analysts, and economics journalists. The ranking covered 73 nominees representing nuclear power, production of gas, oil and coal, transportation of crude oil and petroleum products, power generation.

APEC's main information partner for the publications of all ranking findings is the magazine Neft Rossii (Oil of Russia).
