OREANDA-NEWS. On 15 April 2008 was announced, that Sevmash examination center, established within Independent authority on personnel certification NUTs “Kachestvo” (Moscow), has successfully passed inspection of the main division of Russian Maritime Register of Shipping.

It was the first one in Russia to get Certificate for the right to evaluate qualification level of specialists on radiographic, ultrasonic, magnetic particle, visual, capillary examination methods on objects of shipbuilding and ship repairing for 5 years.

According to Head of Sevmash Central Diagnostic Laboratory Vadim Kireenko, during 2 years Sevmash examination center specialists and NUTs “Kachestvo” specialists developed course of training and certification of specialists, preparation programs, examination questions collection. All documents are prepared according to requirements of Russian Maritime Register of Shipping and International association of Classification societies. Examination questions collection are agreed with leading shipbuilding enterprises.

Now the first group of specialist on visual examination is being prepared for certification.
