OREANDA-NEWS. On 15 April 2008 was announced, that the 14th International Construction Forum “INTERSTROYEXPO” will be held from 15 to 19 April 2008 in Exhibition Venue “Lenexpo” in Harbor.

In the framework of Forum the next exhibitions will be held “Interstroyexpo”,“Teplovent”, “Water Supply”, “Power Supply and Electrical Engineering”, “Construction and Building Materials”, “Tool and Equipment”, “Building Machinery”, “Roofing and Insulating Materials”,“Windows.Doors.Gates”, “Sanitary Ware”, “Intelligent House”, “Interior Solutions”, “Finishing Materials”, “Country Housing”, “Russian Building Industry”, VIII International Building Congress “IBC”. The two new sectors will be "Melal Ware", and "Facade materials".

The international construction forum “Interstroyexpo” is a largest in Russia exhibition project.

It is the only event in North-Western region included into the list of priority events supported Federal Agency for Construction, Housing and Communal Services, it is held under the patronage of the State Chamber of Commerce and Industry, according to the Decree of the Government of Russia #1362 dated 2.11.2006.

The two biggest construction exhibitions were held in Saint-Petersburg since 1994 to 1997: the autumn “Interstroy” and the spring “Stroyexpo”. JSC “Lenexpo” and EC “Restec”. As the result of uniting these two exhibitions: the autumn “Interstroy” and the spring “Stroyexpo”, the first International Construction Exhibition “Interstroyexpo” was held in 1997.

“Windows.Doors.Roofs.”, “Building and Finishing Materials”, “Teplovent”(engineering nets, condition systems and ventilation) have been separated into independent specialized exhibitions in the framework of “Interstroyexpo” since 1999.

Since 2001 The Exhibition “Interstroyexpo” has become the International Construction Forum “Interstroyexpo” and unified exposure part and International Building Congres "IBC". The Forum unified specialized exhibitions “Interstroyexpo”(construction, real estate, tools and equipment), “Windors.Doors.Roofs.”, “Building and Finishing Materials”, “Teplovent” (engineering nets, condition systems and ventilation), “Russian Building Industry”, International Building Congress “IBC”.

In 2002 in the framework of the Forum were organized specialized exhibition “Construction Design” instead of “Building and Finishing Materials”.

In 2002 The International Construction Forum obtained the status of “Priority of State Building of the Russian Federation”.

In 2003 It was the first time when the exhibition “Country Housing” was held in the framework of The International Construction Forum. In 2003 the Governor of St.-Petersburg signed a decree of holding the International Construction Forum “Interstroyexpo” in St.-Petersburg (order ¹2245-pa dated by 26.09.2003).

In 2003 the Forum received the Patronage by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of The Russian Federation.

In 2003 The State Building of The Russian Federation signed the order of holding specialized exhibition “Russian Industry for Housing and Communal Service”(order¹ 277 dated by 29.07.2003) and The International Building Congress “IBC” “The Condition of Housing and Communal Service Complex – the Quality Factor of The Population living in the Russian Federation”.

In 2004 The specialized exhibition “Russian Industry for Housing and Communal Service” was held in the framework of the Forum for the first time. Such competitions as “The best embodied project of power supply and energy saving in buildings and constructions” and “The best project of cottage and low-rise building construction in North-West Region of Russia” were held in the same year. The International Construction Forum celebrated 10th anniversary.

In 2005 the Forum was held under the Patronizing by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of The Russian Federation. 794 companies participated in the Forum, we have 76852 visitors, including 61831 specialists. More than 600 firms, 14 regions of Russia, 6 official delegations from Commonwealth of Independent States, 5 foreign countries participated in The International Building Congress “IBC”.

In 2006 the International Construction Forum “Interstroyexpo” was held under the Patronizing by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of The Russian Federation according to the resolution of St.-Petersburg Government ¹1540 dated by 11.10.2005. “Restoration” and the First All-Russian Meeting “About Measures for reservations of cultural units in lights of Administrative Reform” were held in the framework of the Forum for the first time in compliance with the order from The Ministry of Culture and Mass Communication of the Russian Federation ¹629 dated by 16.12.2005.
