OREANDA-NEWS. On 15 April 2008 was announced, that Almetyevsk Pipe Plant (APP), Republic of Tatarstan, part of the United Metallurgical Company (OMK), has summed up its production results for 1Q08.

During the reporting period, APP manufactured 35,245 tonnes of pipes of various types and 6,368 tonnes of pipes with external polyethylene coating, which exceeded the figure of the similar period in 2007 by 33.5 % (26,391 tonnes).

In 1Q08, APP dispatched 43,439 tonnes of pipes of various types, including 6,858 tonnes of pipes with external insulation – a 29.7 % increase YoY (33,481 tonnes).
