OREANDA-NEWS. April 15, 2008. The coke furnace battery repair has been completed at the coke department of JSC Coks. Last week the furnace battery bleeder stack repair was completed ahead of the schedule. Eight stacks were replaced by the department personnel in the course of repair works. Previous stacks were made unusable owing to the lengthy operation. Besides, next week relaying of the last heating wall #504 will be commenced by the specialists of the coke department and SCRKO #2. It will be the last stage of the major repair of the coke furnace battery #5 initiated on October 01, 2007.
