OREANDA-NEWS. On April 08-11, 2008 at the VI International exhibition “Lespromindustria” Concern “Tractor plants” represented the largest exposition of equipment, reported the press-centre of Concern “Tractor plants”.

Forestry and municipal equipment of the enterprises of the Concern have been presented in Nizhny Novgorod by trade and service company “Chetra - Industrial machines”.

Harvesters, feller-skidders, skidding machines, forestry loaders produced by Silvatec, “Kraslesmash” JSC, “Onezhsky tractor plant” JSC are intended for use in tree felling, processing and transportation of wood. Equipment is adapted for work in conditions of flat and rough ground, at the ascents, at the grounds with low bearing capacity, in different climatic conditions.

Visitors of the exhibition paid special attention to the Silvatec Sleipner harvester, which has stood out at the open space by its power and beauty. Guests have been interested in high speed of material feeding - around 7 v per second that is 70 cubic meters (120 trees). The measuring system allows to control the volume, quantity and length of wood assortment. Harvester is able to work in bleak climatic conditions with temperature to 40 degrees below zero.

Due to low center of gravity and eight-wheel base the machine has high cross-country capability and stability allow to work steadily at the ascents. There is provided computer-aided management - electronic adjustment is directly from the cabin. Consumers of forestry equipment showed huge interest to the upgraded computer system, which allows to receive full information about work of whole machine.

Within the frames of exhibition in Academic hall of General exhibition house took place presentation of “Chetra” equipment. According to the executive director of “Chetra - Industrial machines” JSC Vadim Kalabashkin, the company acts in the interests of consumer, delivers modern equipment and supports its machines in warranty and guaranty periods.

During meeting with guests of the exhibition and representatives of mass-media Igor Sazonov acting as Minister of industry and innovations of Nizhny Novgorod region appeared. According to his words, perspectives of cooperation of trade and service company “Chetra - Industrial machines” with Nizhny Novgorod region are large, all the more, forestry industry of the region made significant step forward, and forestry enterprises master new technologies with pleasure

Exhibition demonstrated scientific and practical potential of native and foreign forestry production, supported exchange of experience and establishment of partner relations between scientific organizations and enterprises, and also implementation of modern technologies aiming financial borrowing.
