OREANDA-NEWS. On April 11, 2008 RAO "UES of Russia" announced the results of the Contest to select the best shareholder and investor relations service in the RAO UES companies. The winners were selected through survey of key Russian and foreign analysts in the electricity industry, reported the press-centre of RAO "UES of Russia".

The IR department of WGC-1 became the contest winner. The second and the third places were given to the IR Departments of WGC-4 and TGC-6, respectively. The Analysts' Choice Award was given to the shareholder and investor relations specialists of TGC-2.

RAO "UES of Russia" congratulates the winners and hopes that during the post-reform period, the IR departments will use their potential as much as possible to increase capitalization of the new post-reform companies.
