OREANDA-NEWS. The VI All-Russia Energy Forum, “Russia’s Fuel and Energy Complex in the XXI Century,” drew to a close in Moscow on April 4, 2008. As in previous years, Stroytransgaz took active part in the forum.

The administration of the President of the Russian Federation, the Council of Federation and the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, ministries and governmental agencies, Gazprom, RAO UES of Russia, and other large companies organized the forum. Nikolai Ryzhkov, chairman of the Commission of the Council of Federation on Natural Monopolies, gave the keynote address.

On April 1, 2008, the day of the forum’s opening, Stroytransgaz made a presentation in the State Kremlin Palace. Representatives of the company described the activities in which Stroytransgaz is engaged. The next day, Advisor to the President of Stroytransgaz and Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences Alexander Gritsenko spoke during the round table discussion titled the Gas Sector of Russia: Development Strategies for a Global Energy Security System. His report dealt with Stroytransgaz’s strategy for overcoming problems utilizing and processing associated petroleum gas in Russia. The presentation drew lively interest from specialists and journalists covering the energy forum.
