OREANDA-NEWS. April 11, 2008. The Registration body of Digital Signature (DS) Keys Registration Centers DS of the Communications and Information Agency of Uzbekistan issued the Certificate for the private enterprise "Multisoft Solutions" on the state registration as the Digital Signature Keys Registration Center, reported the press-centre of Uztelecom. 

Private company "Multisoft Solutions" having obtained the given certificate will become the first non-governmental DS Keys Registration Center. The basic functions of the DS Keys Registration Center are:

- Certificate issuing of digital signature keys in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan to financial, bank and other credit organizations, governmental and non-governmental bodies;

 - Conducting the register of DS key certificates, maintenance its duly updating and opportunity of free access for legal and physical persons in "online" mode;

- Suspension and renewal of operation DS key certificates, as well as cancellation according to the current legislation;

- Maintenance of issuing of electronic copies of DS key certificates on web-site of the DS Keys Registration Center in "online" mode;

- Maintenance of free access to the data on suspended and cancelled DS key certificates in "the list of withdrawn certificates" on web-site of the DS Keys Registration Center in "online" mode;

- Realization of authentification verification of DS in electronic documents;

- Notification of the owner of DS private key on the facts which can effect on the opportunity of further use of the DS key certificate;

- Possibility of training of owners of DS private key on rules of DS use.

Under the provided information the DS Keys Registration Center the Private Company "Multisoft Solutions" intends to carry out the activity on introduction and further development of e-commerce according to the current legislation in information systems in which the use of electronic digital signature facilities is necessary.

For information: For today in the Republic of Uzbekistan are operating two DS Keys Registration Centers (in the Scientific Engineering and Marketing Research Center of the Communications and Information Agency of Uzbekistan and in the State Tax Committee), the quantity of keys issued by them and DS key certificates is 12868.
