OREANDA-NEWS. April 10, 2008. As it was informed in Corporation, the main objective of the visit is beginning the dialogue with the government, donors and interested parties concerning provision of Compact assistance to Moldova.

One of the main goals of the mission is development of Opportunity Memo for Investment committee of MCC - the document which will define the projects of the Compact program. The proposals for Moldova has been completed and presented to MCC in the end of February, 2008.

The assistance within Compact program is provided in the form of gratis investments in growth facility and poverty reduction. Till now Moldova has received from MCC aid totalling \\$24,7 million within the frames of Preliminary program for the country. “Millennium Challenges" is U.S. governmental Corporation, created for collaboration with the poorest countries of the world focused on promotion of correct management principles and economic freedom.
