In March 2008, under the auspices of the St. Petersburg OMI fund, a work meeting and roundtable discussion dedicated to development of the medical service quality management system in the North-Western Federal Area were held in Smolny, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

Y.A. Bondarev, Deputy CEO of OJSC ROSNO-MS, has delivered a speech at the meeting, proposing to join efforts with the city administration and research personnel of the SPB GMA in order to create a uniform methodological centre for debugging and improvement of the mechanism for proliferation of a uniform medical service quality management system.

Also, a report named "Experience of Interaction Between Insurance Company and District Administrations in Forming a Medical Service Quality Management System" was made by Mr. K.M. Alkanovich, CEO of CJSC IC RusMed, a subsidiary of ROSNO-MS.

Among the participants of the meeting and roundtable were Deputy Plenipotentiary of the RF President in the North-Western Federal Area, Administration of the city of St. Petersburg, executive directors of the Territorial OMI Funds of the North-Western Federal Area, CEOs of a number of medical insurance companies based in St. Petersburg, representatives of the chair of health care organization and medical service quality management of the Mechnikov SPB GMA, as well as other medical institutions based in St. Petersburg.
