They summed up the results of the preparations for the maintenance campaign.

The conferees heard reports on the terms and schedule of the maintenance campaign, the amount of planned work, problems of radiation safety and terms of contracts.

Special attention was given to the problems of labor protection and safety culture. The chief inspector of Kalinin NPP Alexander Shaliapin urged the parties to pay more attention to safety and self-control. “We must ensure maximum safety so as to carry out the campaign without injuries. For many years already we have had no injuries,” he said.
