OREANDA-NEWS. April 11, 2008. The awarding ceremony took place in the central office of the company on Apr 10 2008. The decision to award the constructors of Tianwan NPP has been made by the head of Rosatom Sergey Kiriyenko.

The awards – “Academician Igor Kurchatov” Badge and the Certificate of Honor of the Federal Agency for Nuclear Energy – were presented by the deputy head of Rosatom Ivan Kamenskikh.

Among the awardees are not only engineers and constructors but also personnel, workflow, financial and safety executives.

Tianwan NPP in China is the result of the high professionalism of Russian nuclear specialists and the strong proof of the advantages of Russian nuclear technologies. It has been recognized as the safest nuclear power plant in the world.
