OREANDA-NEWS. On 10 April 2008 was announced, that A multilevel car park is to be built in the area of Domodedovo international airport of Moscow roughly in two years.

“The development plans include the erection of the multilevel parking, the construction of which will take approximately 2-2,5 years,” Sergey Rudakov, director of Domodedovo airport complex, said.

According to him, a new waiting lounge for international air service will appear in the airport by summer 2008, a new gallery with hanging ladders will open in Domodedovo later on.

The department of external communication of the airport informed that the passenger traffic reached a record figure equals 18 million people in 2007 (48 per cent of the passenger traffic of the Moscow airports and 33 per cent of the passenger traffic of the Russian airports). The passenger traffic of Domodedovo is predicted to exceed 20 million people in 2008.
