OREANDA-NEWS. April 10, 2008. The Strategic Research Centre under the President’s Office of Azerbaijan has published priority directions of its activities.

At today’s press conference SRC director Elhan Nuriyev said that among the Centre’s  activity priorities are now to prepare political recommendations for country’s governmental agencies, establish relations with authorized world research institutes of Europe and the Unites States.

“We are going to maintain close ties with think-tanks of Western countries. We will also organize scientific and practice conferences relating to Azerbaijan in these countries and similar events in Azerbaijan itself,” Nuriyevs aid.

Such activity will also be launched in Islamic world and Eastern countries.

The Center was founded to coordinate strategic surveys in Azerbaijan and scientific and analytical information security of highest agency of state power. Its staff schedule composes 30 officials.
