OREANDA-NEWS. On 09 April 2008 Uralsvyazinform, the leading carrier of fixed-line and mobile services in the Urals region, Russia announced the results of the tender to assign the auditor of its financial statements as of 2008.

Uralsvyazinform has summed up the results of the tender to nominate the Auditor of its financial statements under both Russian and International Accounting Standards as of 2008.

KPMG (ZAO) has been announced the winner in the tender after all technical and financial aspects of competing offers were taken in consideration.

Tender results are further submitted for the approval of the Annual General Meeting that will take place on June 4, 2008. The company and Auditor will sign the respective agreement upon the due approval of the AGM.
