OREANDA-NEWS. On April 07, 2008 Sistema (LSE: SSA), the largest public diversified corporation in Russia and the CIS, which manages fast growing companies operating in the consumer services sector, announced that it has obtained radio frequencies for building mobile networks in a number of Indian circles, reported the press-centre of Sistema.
The Department of Telecommunications of India allocated the 800 MHz radio frequencies to Sistema's subsidiary, Shyam Telelink, in three Indian circles, North-East, Jammu and Kashmir, and Assam.
