OREANDA-NEWS. April 07, 2008. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) is inspecting prices on the market of mineral fertilizers, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

FAS Russia requested economic entities-manufacturers of mineral fertilizers to present by 8th April 2008 information about the prices for the main types of to the Russian consumers in December 2007 and monthly for 2008.

Such controlling measures are aimed at devising proposals on tightening the governmental control over the markets related to food supply security of the Russian Federation.

FAS Russia will send its Preliminary consolidated report to the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation by 10th April 2008.
