OREANDA-NEWS. April 8, 2008. The final of the 1st all-Russian professional contest “The Best Workers of Russia” took place at Tulamashzavod (Tula) on Mar 27–28. The best turners from 15 regions of Russia – from Khabarovsk to St.Petersburg – came to demonstrate their theoretical knowledge, practical skills, creativity and high labor culture.

The jury consisted of independent experts. Their verdict was as follows:

1st place – Ruslan Museyev (Alnas OJSC, Republic of Tatarstan);
2nd place – Igor Kretov (Novolipetsk Metallurgical Plant OJSC);
3rd place – Dmitry Latyshev (NCCP OJSC, TVEL Corproation).

The winners were granted certificates and cash prizes from 100,000 RUR to 200,000 RUR.

As bronze medalist, Dmitry Latyshev was presented with bronze chisel.
