OREANDA-NEWS. On 08 April 2008 was announced, that Lufthansa started flying to Moscow International Airport Domodedovo. After a week, the official delegation comprising the airline's and German Government top officials came to the airport to participate in the ceremony of opening the Star Alliance member's business-lounge and new back-office.

Lufthansa's check-in counters in Domodedovo operate 24 hours, thus enabling passengers to check-in any time they wish. There are 2 self-service kiosks have been made available as well. Lufthansa offers three ticket counters in the Star Alliance clients area.

Lufthansa opened its own business-lounge in the airport for passengers departing from Domodedovo, which is located in the International Departures area. The business lounge offers a conference-hall, internet-booths, showers, a bar with a wide selection of snacks and drinks, TV-sets, soft chairs and other facilities that make passenger's stay more comfortable.

Every departing passenger flying with Lufthansa from Domodedovo may also enjoy a free check-in at Paveletskiy train station. This allows for saving passengers' time and to reach the airport as quickly as within 40-45 minutes.
