Siemens Will Get New Office in Moscow in 2009
OREANDA-NEWS. On 08 April 2008 was announced, that the construction of a new office of Siemens with the area of more than 100,000 square metres on Leningradsky Prospekt in Moscow is to be completed by autumn 2009.
“The management of Siemens believes that our main partner in the erection of this significant object – Sistema-Hals development company – will complete the construction in proper time in order that the staff of Russian Siemens will move to the new office building in the stipulated date – autumn 2009,” Peter Lцscher, chairman of management of Siemens AG, said during a working visit to Russia.
Mr Lцscher confirmed that he attached great importance to the timely commissioning of the office building of the regional company as a proof of seriousness of Siemens’s intention to invest in the development of Russia’s economy.
“This is one of important factors of the further successful development of business activity of Siemens in Russia,” the official noted.
The office complex on Leningradsky Prospekt near the air terminal will contain two 27-storey buildings and a 5-storey underground car park. The total area of offices will equal more than 100,000 square metres. The area of the site is about 10,000 square metres. Siemens office is to be located in one building, another one will be owned by Sistema-Hals.
