OREANDA-NEWS. On 08 April 2008 was announced, that the city authorities of Moscow plans to complete the construction of a new road interchange at the intersection of Leningradskoe and Golovinskoe highways.

“The work is currently in full swing in the area of the turn to Golovinskoe Highway, the first stage of the construction of the road interchange from Golovinskoe Highway to Leningradka has been almost completed,” Yury Khardikov, prefect of the northern administrative district of Moscow, said.

According to him, the second stage is to be completed by the end of 2008. The traffic redevelopment is to be done in the area of Festivalnaya and Belomorskaya streets within the reconstruction of Bolshaya Leningradka in 2009.

The city authorities of Moscow also plan to put up a new exit road from the highway to the MKAD near Khimki in 2009.
