OREANDA-NEWS. April 01, 2008. Belgazprombank’s ‘collection’ of diplomas and awards, traditionally replenished every spring and autumn, has been enlarged with another four ‘trophies’, reported the press-centre of Belgazprombank.

 The bank’s Gomel branch received the ‘Best Entrepreneur of the Year 2007’ regional diploma, while the Vitebsk branch and Minsk branch No. 1 became nominees in the ‘Best Bank Providing Services to Entrepreneurs’ nomination.

Several days ago, the Belgazprombank head office won the title in the said nomination for Minsk, and Victor Babariko, Chairman of the Board of Belgazprombank, was awarded the diploma signed by Mikhail Pavlov, Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee.

The regional Best Entrepreneur of the Year contest steering committees received 909 applications in total. 123 winners and 222 nominees have been determined.

Remarkably, pursuant to the contest provisions, nominees of the regional and Minsk city contests can take part in the nationwide contest; applications are to be submitted by regional executive committees and Minsk State Executive Committee until April 10. The nationwide contest is based on companies’ and private entrepreneurs’ financial and economic performance in 16 nominations.
