LUKOIL Overseas Put into Operation Integrated Management System
OREANDA-NEWS. On April 01, 2008 the Integrated Management System of LUKOIL Overseas has been put into pilot operation, reported the press-centre of LUKOIL Overseas.
The system of the first phase covers the corporate center (Moscow office), LUKOIL Overseas, Caspian directorate with the center in Astana (capital of Kazakhstan) and KarakudukMunai operating company (Mangistau Region of Kazakhstan). Accounting, cost accounting and allocation as well as project management modules are launched simultaneously.
Besides, asset portfolio, material flow, contractual activity and procurement management modules are commissioned at KarakudukMunai. As for the corporate сenter and the Caspian directorate, these modules will be activated during the second phase, in June 2008. Intensive training of the system users is presently under way. System will be put into commercial operation on July 1, 2008.
Development of Integrated Management System in the LUKOIL group started in 1997 based on ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) designed by German company SAP AG. LUKOIL-Perm, oil producing company, and LUKOIL-Permnefteorgsintez refinery were selected for the pilot implementation of the system. The system was then rolled out to other entities of the group. Decision on establishment of LUKOIL Overseas Integrated Management System was taken in December 2006. The major outcome of system implementation will be the integration of LUKOIL Overseas into the common information space and overall LUKOIL management system.
