OREANDA-NEWS. April 03, 2008. Aeroflot commemorates the 63rd anniversary of the end of World War II with its traditional action for veterans. The action will take place between 5th and 29th May, reported the press-centre of Aeroflot.

For already 8 years now Aeroflot enables many soldiers and affected persons of the second World War free scheduled flights inside Russia, from Russian cities to Europe (Bulgaria, Hungary, Germany, Latvia, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Ukraine, Croatia, Austria and the Czech Republic), as well as from the CIS to the Russian Federation.

Notice: This action does not apply to Codeshare flights.

We invite all affected persons to fly with Aeroflot who have their principal residence in the Russian Federation (RF), the CIS or the Baltic states (countries of the former USSR) or are citizens of these countries.

Persons who fall under the category veterans and affected persons of World War II are listed by Russian Federation law on military veterans of January, 1st 1995m No. 5-F3.

Travelling time in context of the action for veterans is between 5th and 29th May 2008.
Reservation and Booking should be made between 22nd April and 29th May 2008. The free tickets are valid for 1 month according to the action’s terms and conditions.

Within the last seven years more than 25,000 affected persons have taken benefit of the action for veterans. Aeroflot has gained great appreciation for its social commitment, not only by veterans themselves, but also by various organizations.
