President of the Republic of Tatarstan M.Sh.Shaimiev held a meeting with Ian McDonald, President of Chevron Neftegaz Inc., Head of Russian Division of Chevron (USA), with participation of R.N.Minnikhanov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, I.A.Larochkina, State Counselor to RT President on subsurface management, oil, gas and ecological issues, and Sh.F.Takhautdinov, General Director of OAO Tatneft, reported the press-centre of Tatneft.

Representatives of Chevron Company made a presentation of super viscous oil production and processing technologies; then the parties discussed perspectives of their cooperation in the area of heavy oil production and upgrading in Tatarstan.
