OREANDA-NEWS. On 03 April 2008 JSC SITRONICS, a leading provider of telecommunications, IT and microelectronic solutions in Russia and the CIS, announced the delivery of IT infrastructure to Warid Telecom in Uganda. The total value of the contract, signed by INTRACOM TELECOM, a part of SITRONICS Telecom Solutions business division, is US\\$ 22.7 million.

Within the framework of the agreement, SITRONICS Telecom Solutions business division provides the FORIS Next Generation Convergent Integrated Customer Care & Billing Platform and a suite of state-of-the-art Operational Support Systems to Warid Telecom. This joint cooperation between INTRACOM TELECOM and SITRONICS Telecom Solutions Czech Republic, demonstrates a high level of synergy within the telecom solutions business division. The implementation of the project will support Warid Telecom's network development and expand its offering in the Ugandan market.
