Pava Delivered Up to 135 Vans of Its Products to Foreign Partners
OREANDA-NEWS. On 03 April 2008 was announced, that OJSC PAVA was acknowledged the leader in flour export among the Russian grain processing companies. In 2007 the Altai company shipped about 32 tons of flour to foreign countries, which makes up 15% of the total Russian export. Achieving these considerable volumes and significantly enlarging the list of countries, where people appreciate the quality of the flour by the Altai grain processor was made possible due to several factors. The first advantage of the enterprises included in the PAVA group is their geographical location. Flour mills of the grain processor are situated close to export borders. Secondly, PAVA is the only company over the Urals that can manufacture large volumes of products of invariably high quality required by the foreign partners. And lastly, the company has a Department of Foreign Economic Activity, where employees specialize in drawing up foreign contracts.
The largest grain processor of Siberia and the Far East OJSC PAVA began to enter into macrocontracts with foreign partners since September, 2007. Before that the company cooperated with a few countries, but the deliveries were sporadic, and the volumes didn’t rise higher than a few hundred tons. Today the PAVA Transportation Department sends abroad from 43 to 135 vans monthly. The most intense period in this context was October-November 2007, when the company exported over 20,000 tons of flour. The products were shipped to Tadzhikistan, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan and Mongolia.
The PAVA Transportation Department sees to delivering the product to its destination with a maximum operational efficiency. Today firm business relations are established with OJSC “Rossiiskie zheleznie dorogi” (Russian railway), due to which fact vans with OJSC PAVA products are always delivered to the clients on time. Also, a stable partnership was formed with a forwarding agent company which accompanies and looks after the transportation of the product through transit territories.
Rebrikhinsky flour mill (the Altai Territory) accounts for 70% of all export deliveries. In February, 2008 the first 10 vans with OJSC PAVA products left for one of the foreign countries from the grain-collecting station Pankrushikhinskoe. It is planned that Achinsk flour mill (the Krasnoyarsk Territory) will soon be involved in exporting. From there flour will be delivered to South-Eastern countries.
