OREANDA-NEWS. April 4, 2008. The Saratov branch of Bank Electronika marked the sixteenth anniversary since beginning to serve clients. 

The Saratov branch office of Bank Electronika opened its doors on March 26, 1992.

As of February 1, 2008, the Saratov branch held 30th position among the region’s financial institutions when measured by size of currency balance. For the convenience of clients, an auxiliary office has also been opened in Saratov. The branch and its auxiliary provide financial services to large industrial enterprises in Saratov Oblast – including Oblkommunenergo, the Radioinstrument Plant, and Almaz – and small and medium-sized businesses, which are the focus of Bank Electronika’s activities in Saratov. Services offered by the Bank to legal entities and individuals include cash settlement, crediting, servicing of current accounts and banking cards, and investment of funds in term deposits.

In December 2007 a retail services office of the Saratov branch began working in Nizhny Novgorod, serving small and medium-sized businesses. Its goal is to attract new clients and to expand the territorial sweep of the Bank in the regional financial market. In 2008 Bank Electronika plans to open other retail offices associated with the Saratov branch – among them, offices in Saratov and Balakovo in Saratov Oblast and offices in Samara, Pensa and Ulyanovsk.

Elena Vasilyeva, Member of the Management Board and Director of the Directorate for Small and Medium-Sized Businesses, commented: “Saratov Oblast is extremely attractive for investment.
