OREANDA-NEWS. On April 4, 2008 at the Gazprom Headquarters, Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Company’s Management Committee and Peter Loscher, CEO of Siemens AG entered into a Strategic Partnership Agreement.

The Agreement opens way to new opportunities for deeper cooperation between the companies in Russia and abroad.

The Agreement, in particular, identifies the following main directions of further interaction in the oil and gas sector: innovative development, automation, information technologies, telemechanics and telecommunications; power generation; compressor station equipment; offshore oil and gas field development technologies; building and installation safety systems; energy saving and ecology; new medical technologies; project financing.
