OREANDA-NEWS. On 04 April 2008 was announced, that JSC Gazprom Neft had concluded the cooperation agreement with the Omsk Region for 2008. On March 28 the documents were signed by Alexander Dyukov, the Chairman of the Management Board of JSC Gazprom Neft, and Leonid Polezhaev, the Governor of the Omsk Region.

The agreement with the Omsk Regions envisages financing by Gazprom Neft of social assistance programs for orphan asylums, schools and boarding schools as well as the delivery of oil products of Omsk Refinery in the amount of 80 thousand tons with the discount from the valid prices during the sowing and harvesting time.

Alexander Dyukov, the Chairman of the Management Board of JSC Gazprom Neft, said: “The Omsk Region is one of the strategic regions of the Company’s presence. Omsk Refinery, the main refining asset of the Company, is situated there.

In 2008, Gazprom Neft plans to increase oil processing volumes of Omsk Refinery up to 17.5 mln. tons. Furthermore, we intend to actively participate in the social and economic projects of the region, to support all the initiatives of the regional administration to improve the quality of population life and to ensure uninterrupted operation of our enterprises.”
