OREANDA-NEWS. On April 02, 2008 Alliance Bank JSC (Almaty), securities of which are traded in the official list of Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) of category "A", provided KASE with the press release that informs of the two planned payments on external loans for the total of \\$131 m., reported the press-centre of KASE. 

According to the message on March 20, 2008, the bank repaid the first tranche in the amount of \\$85 m. of the Wakala syndicated loan for the total of \\$150 m. attracted within the Islamic financing according to the Murabaha scheme.

Moreover, on March 28, 2008 the bank fully repaid a Schuldschein syndicated loan in the amount of \\$46 m.

The Murabaha loan was raised in March 2007 with payments due in two tranches at 370 days and two years. CALYON acted as the book runner and ADIB acted as advisor on Islamic financing issues. Nineteen lending banks from the Middle East were engaged in the transaction. The Schuldschein syndicated loan was raised March 2006. The loan was arranged for the Bank by a syndicate of 17 investors for the period of two years. The financing was governed by the German legislation with LandesBank Berlin AG acting as the transaction head organizer.
