Zinaida Grecianii Became the First Prime Minister Woman of Moldova
OREANDA-NEWS. On April 01, 2008 Zinaida Grecianii has become the first woman who took the post of the prime minister of Moldova. The new government comprises 17 ministries. The new government includes 13 persons from the previous government.
The new prime minister will have three deputies. Igor Dodon was appointed the first prime minister, the minister of economy and commerce.
Their posts in the new government were retained by: Victor Stepaniuc-the first vice-prime minister, Andrei Stratan- the vice prime minister, the minister of foreign affairs and European integration, Anatolie Gorodenco- the minister of agriculture and food industry, Vasile Ursu - the minister of transport and road management, Violeta Ivanov - the minister of ecology and natural resources, Galina Balmos- the minister of social protection, family and child, Artur Cozma- the minister of culture and tourism, Vitalie Pirlog - the minister of justice, Vitalie Vrabie- the minister of defense, Vasilie Sova - the minister of reintegration and Valentin Guznac - the minister of public administration.
Mariana Durlesteanu - the former ambassador of Moldova in Great Britain and the vice-minister of finance was appointed the minister of finance of Moldova.
Larisa Catrinici- the former head of the National center of blood transfusion and the vice-minister of health was appointed the minister of health.
Valentin Mejinschi- the former head of the Center of economic crimes and corruption prevention was appointed the minister of internal affairs.
Pavel BuceaTchi was appointed the minister of informational development, Larisa Savga- the minister of education and youth.
Vladimir Baldovici- the former head of the construction and territorial development agency was appointed the head of the ministry of the same name.
It is planned that on the basis of the vote of confidence, the president Vladimir Voronin will sign the Decree of appointing new government.
