OREANDA-NEWS. April 3, 2008. The National Bank of Azerbaijan said the aggregate capital of 7 of the 45 banks of Azerbaijan was below the required AZN 10 million after February, 2008. One of them even had it below AZN 5 million, while six others had it between AZN 5 million and AZN 10 million. These banks' part in the banking system did not change in February and was 0.4% and 5% respectively. By March 1, 2008, 38 banks' aggregate capitals exceeded AZN 10 million. These banks' part in the banking system's aggregate capital was 94.6%.
